The Ontario English Catholic Teachers’ Association (OECTA) has been increasingly successful in challenging system level appointments of principals and vice-principals that they purport should be staffed by teachers… Since 2005, CPCO has undertaken a number of actions on the part of its members…The Catholic Principals’ Council of Ontario recommends that no principal or vice-principal accept a system level assignment without satisfactory job protection clauses being integrated into their local terms and conditions of employment…More

Moving Boards

CPCO members who accept positions in other school boards for the 2009-2010 school year are asked to contact Nelly Kelders or Gaby Aloi at the CPCO provincial office before the end of the school year to ensure continuation of membership and services.


Long Term Disability (LTD) Plan

Members in the CPCO LTD plan are reminded that once you reach your 85 factor you may need to terminate your LTD coverage, depending on the option you have chosen. Any members with 35 years of pensionable service should also have ended their LTD coverage. Contact Nelly Kelders at 1-888-621-9190 or 416-483-1556 ext. 38 for more information.
