Timetabling
- Timetable strategically to build from a student's strengths and interests
- Use a wide range of courses through substitution to meet compulsory credit requirements
- Create a balanced scheduled (ie. challenging courses spread out over both semesters)
- Provide students with greater choice
- Offer courses in non-traditional formats
A series of power points has been developed by the principals' association to assist secondary school principals and vice-principals in working with their student success teams to structure timetables to support the Student Success/Learning to 18 initiatives. Feel free to modify and adapt to serve the needs of your school community.
