Clara Pitoscia – CPCO Executive Director
CPCO officially welcomed Clara Pitoscia as its new executive director as of January 1, 2010. Clara moves into the role after serving for the last four months as CPCO’s deputy director. Ministry Policy/Program Memoranda (PPM) on Principal/Vice-Principal Terms and Conditions
As reported in the December 16, 2009 e-zine, the upcoming Ministry PPM on Principal/Vice-Principal Terms and Conditions gives authority to local association representatives to negotiate the next contract with their school boards. More information regarding the details of this PPM will be reviewed at next month’s Council of District Representatives (CDR) meeting.; In the meantime, local association leaders are encouraged to undertake a review of their constitutions to ensure that governance models include language describing representation for all association members. As requested at the November CDR meeting, a draft checklist is being provided for your convenience. This checklist will be finalized after the February CDR meeting.

As mentioned above, the next CDR meeting is being held on February 19th and 20th. If there are items of interest in your local association that you would like brought to the CDR meeting please make sure to communicate with your local district representative.
