PROFESSIONAL LEARNING

Summer Institute

CPCO in partnership with OCSOA is offering summer institutes focused on developing mentoring and coaching skills. Initial training takes place on Aug. 16-17, 2010. Those who received training in Aug. 2009, are eligible for the Going Deeper session on Aug. 18-19, 2010. Both sessions will be hosted at the Toronto Marriott Eaton Centre Hotel. Boards may support individuals and teams with funding received from the Ministry’s Ontario Leadership Strategy. Online registration is available.

Work-life Employee Assistance Program

All CPCO members may access this website and take advantage of the information available. Password and login are rbceng. This month learn more about how you can cope with stress. Some services are only available to members in CPCO’s Long Term Disability Program.

CPCO CONFERENCE & AGM

AGM Delegates

Delegates are reminded that they must register for the 2010 conference and/or the AGM. Questions regarding registration may be directed to Gaby Aloi.


Nominations for Executive Council

Nominations for positions on the executive council for 2010-11 have closed. Members are invited to review the nominations for elementary and secondary councilors. Read each nominee’s biography by clicking on their name.


Vendors

During the conference on April 23, participants are invited to spend time visiting the vendors’ displays. The exhibit hall will be open from 8:00a.m. to 3:30p.m. Take this opportunity to meet representatives of the various companies who supply school resources and innovative services to the school community.


Conference Confirmation

Members who registered prior to March 26 should have received their confirmation letter by fax. Contact Gaby Aloi if you have not received your letter.
