These modules are designed to encourage school administrators and education leaders to explore innovative and evidence-based practices and strategies that can aid French Second Language Programs. These modules help to build a compendium of effective strategies to support Catholic school administrators' understanding of the French Second Language Program, including French Immersion and its unique needs.
Some things to consider as you engage in these modules:
- You may work through these modules as a self-directed learning experience, setting your own pace and accessing it how you see fit.
- You may want to consider completing these modules with other principal colleagues. A small group can discuss how the content reflects what is happening in their schools.
- All materials required to complete these modules are included within the four content sections.
- Each module is designed to take approximately five hours to complete. You can exit and return to your current learning section as you need to.
Note: While the content in this course is mainly focused on the roles of Vice-Principal and Principal, they support all education leaders - positional or not. The current module is provided in the Ontario context; please refer to the glossary for clarification.
